Kala motiya - the silent thief of sight!

When we hear word “moti “ we all-get a quick picture of pearls in our mind and it pleases us because it’s beautiful.  We have a positive response when we here it but this response differ when “kala” word is used as a prefix. Look If I say you have got  pearls( Moti) , what will be your reaction?     Duh! You will be on cloud nine . But if a doctor says you have pearls then  he adds kala to it , like he says you are having “kala motiya “ you get perplexed after his sentence.  So now how to react ? What on earth is this “ kala motiya “?   Hear me out !    “Kala motiya” is a punjabi/hindi word for  Glaucoma.  I am sorry my dear you are suffering from a very common eye disease that can lead to total vision loss .    It totally differ from “safaid motiya “ i.e cataract .
